About the JA Company Program
The program aims to foster and showcase the entrepreneurial spirit in young students, teaching them to pitch and sell their products and services. This after-school program allows high school students to start and run their own business. With the help of a student group and volunteer mentors, students will create, manage, and liquidate a business in 18 weeks. The program is for students in grades 9-12 across Central Ontario, and free of charge.
Generous corporate partners throughout the community provide the funding, meeting space and most importantly employees from their organization who act as volunteer mentors (referred to as Advisors).
Celebrating the teen spirit
AHH-EE, has created a book “Teenagers 101”, authored, edited and illustrated by the students. Moved by the heart-warming true stories and drawings by these students, LTI Canada is sponsoring the printing cost of the book which includes stories and poems that provide advice on fitting in, friendship, love, time management, workload and more.
What you can do
AHH-EE is organizing the 4th Annual JA Company Program Trade Show on the 14 March 2019, at the First Canadian Place, Toronto. Over 150 students will participate, spending time in perfecting their sales pitches and developing entrepreneurial skills.
