Our client is one of the world's leading oil companies. Based in the US, their activities span Oil & Gas exploration, refining and marketing of oil, lubricants, fuels, petrochemicals and power production businesses.
the challenge
The client was seeking a strategic downstream initiative that would standardize business processes, harmonize business data and consolidate over 80 business systems and 50 HR systems around the world. A number of complex, non-SAP systems were also involved.

The end objective was to deliver common business platforms that would streamline operations, improve processes and significantly improve Downstream's financial performance and functional capabilities.
