The challenge
Our client provides diagnostic tools to multiple OEMs. These tools are upgraded and enhanced over short and frequent intervals depending on the OEM's business strategies. The client needed an initiative that would provide a smooth ramp-up / ramp-down of resources working on a proprietary framework for this purpose, while moving towards cost reduction and reduced time to market.

The solution
We proposed an offshore development center for our client's garage equipment and diagnostics division in France. The offshore development center has reduced the cost of development, while maintaining the desired quality standards of the OEMs that our client serves. A scalable team of resources specifically trained on the proprietary technology used for diagnostic applications, along with a resource forecast given by the client provides for a smooth ramp-up/ ramp-down of resources.
