| L&T Infotech bags the Best IT Software Award at the Maharashtra IT Awards 2007 |

Executive, L&T Infotech; and
Member of the Board L&T,
received the award for Best
IT Software Services at the
Maharashtra IT Awards 2007
ceremony organized by the
AIAI (All India Association
of Industries) and MIDC
(Maharashtra Industrial
Development Corporation) on
November 14, 2007 in Mumbai.
The awards have been instituted to felicitate companies, which have significantly contributed to the growth of ITin Maharashtra. Other categories of awards included the awards for Best ITHardware, Best IT Enabled Services, Best R&D in Innovation in IT, ITR&D Multimedia and Entertainment, ITService Provider [ISPand ITService Provider (Telecom)]. The objective of this award is to promote entrepreneurship in the IT Industry in the State, to recognize and appreciate outstanding performance in IT activities, to encourage rapid spread of use of IT in society and to encourage use of IT as a means of creating employment opportunities. |

| Present at the prestigious awards function were some of the country's best known minds in the ITand ITeS spheres. Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh, Chief Minster of Maharashtra, presided over the event. Also present on the occasion were Mr. Vijay Kedantri, President, AIAI; Mr. Ashok Chavan, Minister of Industries and Mines; Mr. V.K. Jairath, Principal Secretary(Industries); Mr. K. Shivaji, IT Secretary; and Ms. Malini Shankar from the Ministry of Industrial Development. |
