Software Development
Block-III (SDB-III) located
in the L&T Technology Campus
here today. Mr. Desai was
addressing a gathering
consisting of L&T Infotech
and L&T employees. Earlier, Mr. Desai inaugurated the SDB-III by cutting the ribbon and lighting the auspicious lamp in the presence of Mr. V. K. Magapu, Chief Executive, L&T Infotech; and Member of the Board, L&T; Mr. Paul Jeong, Executive Vice-President; Mr V. Shrinivasan, Vice President; and other senior executives. |
| About the Center The SDB-III is a part of Phase 3-Expansion Plan of the L&T Technology Campus, spread across the 12-acre plot located in the Export Promotion & Industrial Park (EPIP), Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) Area, Whitefield, Bangalore. This new facility is designed to provide an extra edge to L&T Infotech in successfully tapping the new business potential. The SDB-III is a basement + ground + 5 storied structure with a total built-up area of 1,20,000 sq. feet. The basement is designed for car park, utilities like electrical room, fume extraction facility and a control room. It has 12 conference rooms, each having 17 seats and 12 conference rooms, each having 10 seats, in addition to 24 discussion rooms, each having 6 seats. One of the unique features of this facility is that each floor has two wings, each equipped with a Software Testing Lab. The Architects were the Singapore-headquartered RSP Architects and Planners and they received design assistance from the Chennai-based Engineering Design & Research Centre (EDRC) of L&T's Construction Division. |
