Our client is a leading online entertainment provider, based in USA The Challenge To address growing business needs, the client decided to re-architect its major IT systems with Service-oriented Architecture (SOA). We were the consultants for the selection of a technology platform for SOA realization. Since the customer had decided to begin SOA adoption by developing reusable business services, it also needed a sound methodology for the same. THE SOLUTION Our consultant teams evaluated technology platforms from IBM, Oracle, BEA and JBoss vis a vis our client's requirements and finally recommended JBoss Application Server and its native web services stack. We also helped the client to select suitable technology for service-enabling its legacy system. Finally, we provided the methodology for developing reusable service offerings, customized for the technical environment of the client.
