The E&PC Innovation center was inaugurated in May 2008 & is housed in L&T Infotech's Houston office at 3700 WestChase Dr. E&PC Innovation Center showcases L&T Infotech & Larsen & Toubro's capabilities in 'Business to IT connect' & the center would enable L&T Infotech to come up with Innovative solutions in the various areas for Hydrocarbon Value chain such as IT for Physical Layer Connectivity , IT for Major Capital Project, Asset Information System, ERP solutions along with Refinery capabilities.

The solution center is headed by Innovation centre head & presently R&D activities are being carried on by a team of Solution architects supported by a offshore team in India E&PC solution centre. The Innovation centre is connected by a robust & scalable Infrastructure of T1 lines aided by VPN connectivity to New Jersey & India COE.

The center plans to house g-station, a Downstream Retail solution to integrate from Pump to C-Store and MAX 5R Robot with capabilities in sensing and remote monitoring.

E&PC Innovation Center has a Future plan to connect over VPN to all L&T Infotech COE located in Mumbai, Edison, San Ramon and also Control and Automation center.
