L&T Infotech's SAP Certified solution - Fuel compliance management system (FCMS) gets successfully implemented at US Oil & Gas major.

Major Oil & Gas company in US implemented FCMS, for efficiently and effectively managing RFS (Renewable Fuel Standard) & LCFS (Low carbon Fuel Standard) compliance regulations. FCMS helps them submit timely reports and comply to all the RFS and LCFS requirements.

Under Energy Policy Act of 2005, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established a national renewable fuel program (the Renewable Fuel Standard Program, or RFS program). The program is designed to encourage the blending of renewable fuels into motor vehicle fuel. These regulations set an annual renewable fuel standard that requires collective compliance by refiners, blenders and importers of renewable fuel additives.

FCMS allows organization to do transaction accounting for RF fuels and has comprehensive reporting capability to comply with regulations as per EPA compliance requirements. It enables to manage, review and suggest compliance decisions. It also gives business alerts for excessive RIN due for Expiry.

Low-carbon fuel standard mandate was enacted by California in 2007, with specific eligibility criteria defined by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) in April 2009 and regulations in effect 2010. The purpose of a low-carbon fuel standard is to reduce greenhouse gases (GHG) by reducing the carbon intensity of transportation fuels used in California.

FCMS enables to complete all the transaction accounting processes related to RF and Petroleum fuel under LCFS. Also system provides reports compatible with LRT, the reporting tool from CARB.
