PUBLIC NOTICE
It has been brought to our attention that certain parties are sending out bogus e-mails to individuals purporting to be issued in the name of Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd. ("L&T Infotech"). They are, asking the individual to come for a face-to-face interview for a job opening with L&T Infotech and, to deposit a certain amount as a refundable interview security in a designated bank account. The e-mails are falsely stated to be from Recruiting Head, Requirement Head or Executive - HRD, of L&T Infotech.
L&T Infotech has not sent out any such e-mails, nor has asked for money to be deposited in any bank accounts. L&T Infotech and its affiliate companies bear no responsibility for amounts being deposited / withdrawn therefrom, in response to such e-mails.
The public are warned that these e-mails / letters are a fraud, which is being perpetrated in L&T Infotech's name by certain unknown persons/parties in order to make unlawful gains. L&T Infotech is in touch with the police authorities for taking appropriate steps. Two individuals in this regard have been arrested by the police. However, despite their arrest, these type of bogus communications are still being circulated. Though we continue to pursue the matter with the police authorities, the public needs to be aware of the bogus emails being sent in our name and should not respond to them at all.
