Y M Deosthalee

L&T Infotech: Director
Mr. Y.M. Deosthalee is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in law. He joined L&T in 1974 and held positions at various offices of L&T all over the country. In March 1995, Mr.Deosthalee was appointed as Wholetime Director on the Board of Larsen & Toubro and held the title of Chief Financial Officer, till he retired on 5th September 2011.
During his long tenure as CFO with L&T, he was controlling Finance & Accounts, Risk Management, Shared Services and Human Resources. He also provided strategic inputs and helped in business building of L&T Infotech.

Mr. Vijay Kumar Magapu, Whole-time Director & President (IT, Engineering Services and Corporate Initiatives), Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), is a Director
of Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd, the wholly-owned subsidiary of L&T.
Under his leadership, L&T Infotech adopted an aggressive business development drive that resulted in key
strategic alliances and the establishment of multiple Offshore Development Centers for global clients.
Mr. Magapu was also responsible for several initiatives to secure quality certifications and assessment
levels that are among the most sought after in the IT industry.

Mr. Desai provided
senior leadership
and focus for the
iDEN business and
its relationships
with its carrier
customers. This
appointment was a
continuance of Mr.
Desai's successful
history with
Motorola's iDEN
business, which he
founded in the early
1990's. Mr. Desai
was instrumental in
growing the business
to what it is today
and forming its
strategic
partnership with
Nextel. iDEN
technology is used
by Nextel and other
carriers, including
Southern LINC,
Nextel Partners,
Boost Mobile and NII
Holdings, to provide
wireless
communication
services that
include
push-to-talk-two-way
radio service.

Mr. M. M. Chitale, a fellow member of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants of India, is a renowned professional having standing of more than 35 years. Mr. Chitale is a partner in Mukund. M. Chitale & Co: a firm that provides services in the areas of auditing tax consultancy and management consultancy to various banking, insurance, and manufacturing firms.
He also holds directorship in many renowned Companies including Shriram Transport Finance Co. Ltd., and ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Ltd. Mr. Chitale is also associated as the Member of Governing Council of Banking Codes and Standards Board of India. He is also the Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Stock Exchange, Mumbai. He is a member of Advisory Board on Bank, Commercial and Financial Frauds, of the group for Amalgamation of Urban Co-operative Banks.
